About

Vincere Press

Stories worth remembering. Worlds worth entering.

Vincere Press was founded in 2012 by Mark and Jennifer Tullius. What began as a way to publish the stories they believed in — without waiting for anyone else’s permission — has grown into a home for interactive novels, horror, science fiction, fantasy, dark fiction, nonfiction, and audiobooks, and for the authors, artists, editors, and narrators who bring them to life.

At the center is Try Not to Die, our flagship interactive series. It started with a single book and a simple, dangerous idea: let the reader make the choices — but not control the consequences. It has since grown into a collaborative series spanning horror, fantasy, science fiction, suspense, westerns, young-adult crossover, and Extreme Horror, written with a growing family of contributors.

We publish across categories on purpose. A catalog that refuses to sit inside one safe genre is harder to summarize — and far more interesting to explore.

What we believe

Protect the story and the reader

Accurate positioning, honest content guidance, and proper author credit matter more than aggressive marketing.

Human creativity stays central

Tools can organize and distribute the work. They don’t invent the stories — those come from people.

Build things that last

Every book and every creator should still matter after a redesign, a new format, or the next decade.

Quiet confidence

Professional, human, ambitious, and independent — never inflated, never desperate, never cold.
